Hi! I’d like to tell you about one of the most famous monuments in Russia — the Motherland Calls statue in Volgograd. It stands on Mamayev Kurgan and is one of the tallest statues in the world.

Tourists can visit the memorial complex, walk around the hill, and see the Eternal Flame and other monuments. There is also a museum nearby, where people can learn about the Battle of Stalingrad and the history of World War II.

I think this monument is very impressive and moving. It reminds us of the courage and sacrifice of people during the war. I feel proud that such an important place is in my country.
