I’d like to tell you about my favourite holiday — New Year. It is a very special day for my family and me. We decorate the room and the New Year tree, buy and give presents, send special postcards and congratulate our relatives and friends. In the evening we cook special dishes, invite relatives and friends, watch TV, chat with each other and have a good time. At midnight we set off fireworks and sing songs. Sometimes we play board games or dance. I like this holiday because it is bright, cheerful and full of joy.
