Card 1

Russia is a very big and beautiful country. The capital of Russia is Moscow. It is one of the most famous cities in the world. There are many interesting places to visit in Russia: the Kremlin, Red Square, Saint Petersburg, Lake Baikal, the Golden Ring cities and many others.

The place where I live is famous for its beautiful nature, friendly people and interesting history. People can visit local museums, parks and old buildings there.

Card 2

There are some British holidays which are similar to Russian ones, for example Christmas and New Year, Easter and May Day. I like Christmas most of all because it is a warm family holiday. People decorate their houses, give presents and have a nice dinner together.

Usually I spend this holiday with my family. We decorate the Christmas tree, prepare tasty food, watch films and talk to each other. It is always a very happy day.
