Write a short essay about any sporting event you have seen recently. In your essay, answer these questions:
1. What kind of sport are you going to speak about?
2. Are you fond of it?
3. Do you do that sport yourself? (Where? How often?)
4. Is it a traditional kind of sport in Russia?
5. When did you last visit a sporting event?
6. Did you take any pictures of it?
I’d like to speak about football. I am fond of it because it is exciting and active. I do not play football professionally, but I often play it with my friends at school or in the yard after classes. Football is very popular in Russia, but it is not a traditional Russian sport.
Last week I visited a football match with my father. It was very interesting and noisy, and the players were really strong and fast. I took a few pictures of the stadium and the game.
