Moscow is the capital of Russia. It is situated in the western part of the country, on the Moskva River. Moscow was founded in 1147.

It is worth visiting because it is a beautiful and historic city with many sights. Moscow is full of museums, theatres, parks, old churches and modern buildings. It is famous for the Kremlin, Red Square, St Basil’s Cathedral and the Bolshoi Theatre.

Moscow is one of the most interesting cities in Russia, and many tourists come there every year.
