British schools
Primary school is for children who are 5— 11 years old. Secondary school is for children who are 11—16 (or 18) years old.
At primary school: English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Art and Design. Music. Information Technology (1.Т.), foreign languages, Physical Education (P.E.).
At secondary school: the same subjects as in primary school plus Citizenship and some other subjects.
In most primary and secondary schools, students have to wear a school uniform.
Most British schools provide lots of activities after lessons. They also have good sports facilities for playing football, tennis, basketball, etc.

Russian schools are for children from 6 to 17 years old. At primary school pupils study Russian, Maths, Reading, English, Art, Music and Physical Education. At secondary school they study the same subjects plus History, Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Studies.

In most Russian schools students do not have to wear a school uniform, but some schools have one. Many schools offer clubs after lessons and have sports facilities for football, basketball, volleyball and other games.

British and Russian schools have some things in common: pupils study many of the same subjects, they can do sports and join clubs after lessons, and schools have classrooms, teachers and timetables.
