Grandad: Hello. David!
David: Oh. hi. Grandad! How are you? How is Granny?
Grandad: We arc fine, thanks. And you?
David: I’m OK. A lot of homework to do as usual. But next week we are having our half-term holidays. So I’ll have a rest then.
Grandad: David. I am just calling to talk about your holidays. What about visiting us? You can lake your friends with you if you want.
David: Can I? Really? I ‘d like to spend the holidays with my friends, Mike and John, but we didn’t know where we could go together.
Grandad: Sounds like a good plan. Granny and I would be very glad to see you and your friends. Holiday’s in the Irish countryside can be really enjoyable. I promise you fresh air and lots of adventures.
David: That’s settled then. I hope Mum won’t have anything against our plan.
Grandad: Bye for now. then. Call me about the exact day you are coming.
David: See you soon. A big hug to Grandma.
