   a) which festivals and holidays are similar in both countries;
   b) which holidays are similar but are celebrated on different dates;
   c) which holidays and festivals are celebrated only in one of the countries.

а) Similar in both countries: New Year, Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, St Valentine’s Day.

б) Similar but celebrated on different dates: Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day.

в) Celebrated only in one of the countries: Thanksgiving Day, Halloween, Guy Fawkes’ Night, Independence Day, Victory Day, May Day, Defender of the Fatherland Day.
