I live in a semi-detached house which is quite typical of England. There are two bedrooms, a sitting room, a kitchen and a bathroom in it. One bedroom is for my parents, the second bedroom is for me and my elder sister Kate. She is two years older than me and we get on well with each other. I like our room. It’s bright and comfortable. but it is not very big. That’s why my bed is high up: my desk and my computer are underneath. I also like our sitting room with its old fireplace. Although we don’t often have a fire in our fireplace, it makes our sitting room cozy. In the evening, we watch TV or play Scrabble there.
b) Talk about your favourite place in your house/flat.
