As a group, you are going to give a presentation about a local wonder of nature. W0rk in groups of 3-4 to complete these steps.
Step 1
Make a list of the wonders of nature located in your city (town / region). What do you know about them? Choose the wonders of nature you’d like to speak about.
Step 2Find out more information about it. Use the Internet if necessary. Make a plan of the presentation. Use these points:
1. Where it is situated.
2. What it is like.
3. What it is famous for.
Step 3
— Find or make by yourselves some photographs of this wonder of nature. Explain your photos
— Follow the plan of a presentation.
— Create a design for each slide of the presentation using your photos and pictures.
— Write captions for each slide. Include the most interesting facts and details.
Step 4
Give your group’s presentation to your classmates.
As a class, discuss all the presentations and choose the best ones.
