Project 2 Weather forecast
- Choose a period of time for the forecast in your region.
- Write the weather forecast.
- Illustrate your forecast with weather signs and pictures.
- Present your project to your classmates. Answer your classmates’ questions.
- Discuss the projects with your classmates and choose the best.
Choose one of the projects and prepare it in English.
Project 1. A Season Tourist Guide
Example:
Season: Summer
Region: the Black Sea coast
In summer the weather is usually warm and sunny. Sometimes it can be windy or rainy, but most days are good for outdoor activities.
Tourists can swim in the sea, sunbathe, play beach games, go boating and take walks along the coast. They can also visit local sights and go on excursions.
On hot days tourists should wear light clothes, a cap and sunglasses. They should take water with them. In cool or rainy weather they should wear a jacket, trousers and comfortable shoes. It is also a good idea to take an umbrella.
Project 2. Weather Forecast
Example:
Here is the weather forecast for the next three days in my region.
Tomorrow will be warm and sunny. The temperature will be about 22 degrees. There will be no rain.
On Saturday it will be cloudy and windy. In the evening there may be light rain.
On Sunday the weather will be cool and wet. The temperature will drop to 16 degrees.
That is the weather forecast for the next three days.
Useful tip: You can add pictures, weather signs and your own ideas to make the project more interesting.
