Role play. Your partner doesn’t look well.

Pupil Card 1. Your partner doesn’t look well today. Perhaps, she/he has got the flu. Don’t forget to:
- ask about her/his health;
- show sympathy;
- give advice (you think she/he must consult the doctor and she/he mustn’t use home medicine).
Pupil Card 2. You have got a cold. You don’t want to go to the doctor. Don’t forget to:
- say how you are;
- say that you want to use some home medicine;
- say that you think you’ll be OK soon.

— Hello! You don’t look well today. What’s the matter?
— I think I’ve got the flu.
— I’m sorry to hear that. Do you have a high temperature?
— Yes, a little.
— You must consult the doctor. You mustn’t use home medicine.
— All right. Thank you.

Pupil Card 2:

— Hello! I’ve got a cold.
— Oh, I’m sorry. How do you feel?
— Not very well, but I don’t want to go to the doctor.
— Why not?
— I want to use some home medicine. I think I’ll be OK soon.
