1) What do they wear in school? (listening for detail)

M: What do you wear to school?
B1: We don’t have a school uniform. We wear what we like. So I wear something different every day. Today I have got my favourite clothes on.
M: Let me tell you about Tom’s clothes. He’s got black jeans, a blue shirt and a brown jumper. What about you, Jane?
G1: At school we do not wear trousers, so I always wear a uniform: a white blouse with a dark skirt and a pullover. But my favourite clothes are jeans or shorts and a top.

1) The pupils wear different clothes in school.

• Boy 1: He doesn’t have a school uniform. He wears what he likes. Today he has got his favourite clothes on.
• Tom: He’s got black jeans, a blue shirt and a brown jumper.
• Jane: She always wears a uniform: a white blouse with a dark skirt and a pullover.

2) In my culture, school clothes are usually a school uniform: a shirt or blouse, trousers or a skirt, and sometimes a jacket or a pullover.
