Policeman: We know there were two men at the crime scene. What do they look like?
Witness A: One of them is young, about 20. He’s tall with a square face and long black hair. He’s muscular and dark-skinned.
Witness B: Yes, he was of athletic build.
Policeman: Any distinguishing features?
Witness A: He’s wearing glasses, square heavylooking glasses.
Policeman: What about the other man? Can you describe his appearance?
Witness B: The other one is about 40, he’s short, very short. He’s got curly hair, not dark, light brown hair. His face is wide.
Witness C: Yes, and he’s got a moustache and a beard.
Witness A: He was a bit overweight, chubby, I’d say. Witness C: He was wearing black leather trousers and a jacket. His shoes looked very old and dirty. Policeman: Thank you. And the woman?
Witness A: She’s about 30. She’s got long, wavy, blonde hair. She has a round face and big, beautiful blue eyes.
Policeman: How tall is she?
Witness B: She’s medium height, slim and quite pretty.
Policeman: Anything you remember about her clothes? What was she wearing?
Witness C: She was dressed in black and had gold earrings and a gold chain. She has a big black bag. Policeman: Thank you, everybody. Now we know the details, we can go on with our investigation.
