Possible answer:

• Cartoon — an animated programme for children.
• News — a programme about current events.
• Documentary — a programme about real people, places or events.
• Quiz show — a programme where people answer questions and win prizes.
• Sports programme — a programme about different sports and matches.
• Film — a story shown on TV.

My favourite programme is a cartoon because it is funny and interesting.
