Imagine you are moving house. In pairs look at the plan of the bedroom. Make a list of the things you want to put in it. Then in groups decide what to put in it and where. Use the dialogue in Ex. 6 as a model.

Here is a possible list of things for the bedroom:

• a bed
• a wardrobe
• a desk
• a chair
• a bookshelf
• a lamp
• a mirror
• a rug

We can put the bed near the wall, the wardrobe next to the door, the desk by the window, the chair at the desk, the bookshelf on the left wall, the lamp on the desk, the mirror above the dresser, and the rug in the middle of the room.
