A dacha is a small house in the countryside with a plot of land. Many Russian people have dachas outside the city, a few kilometres away. They use them to relax, grow fruit and vegetables, and spend weekends with their families. In spring they clear the garden and plant vegetables. In summer they swim, fish, and pick fruit and berries. In autumn they enjoy the beautiful colours of nature.
I think the best picture is the one that shows a cosy dacha with a garden and trees around it. It looks peaceful and perfect for a weekend отдых.
My dacha is a lovely place in the country. I like to help in the garden, pick berries, and play outside. In summer I enjoy swimming and having picnics with my family. It is a great place to relax away from the city.
