A. Careen Smith likes hot weather. She can go swimming and sunbathe on the beach. It is the time of ripe and juicy fruit and beautiful flowers. And there are no lessons.

B. Mary Brodwick likes snow. She likes skiing and skating very much. She thinks cold weather is better than warm weather and she enjoys celebrating Christmas and New Year.

C. Mrs Jennings has got a small garden with a few trees. In this season she usually has some apples, plums and a lot of cucumbers and cabbages in her favourite garden, where she spends a lot of time.
