Environmental problems have become some of the most important nowadays because they affect our health, nature and the future of the planet.

Air pollution can cause breathing problems and make people ill. Water pollution can kill fish and make water unsafe to drink. Soil pollution can damage crops and make the land less fertile.

Global warming may lead to hotter summers, melting ice and rising sea levels. Cutting down forests destroys the homes of many animals and plants and also makes the air worse, because trees produce oxygen.

The extinction of plants and animals is very dangerous, because every living thing is part of nature. If some species disappear, the natural balance can be broken.
