- You are in the street and you want to know the way to the nearest Pharmacy (аптека). Stop someone and ask him / her way.
- One of your relatives is at the railway station. She / He has come to see you but doesn’t know the way. Tell her / him how to get to your place.
- Your nephew is out. His friend has called to invite him to the disco. Take a message and write down how to get there.
A: Excuse me, could you tell me the way to the nearest pharmacy?
B: Certainly. Go straight ahead, then turn left at the traffic lights. The pharmacy is on your right.
A: Thank you very much.
B: You’re welcome.
A: Hello! I’m at the railway station. I’ve come to see you, but I don’t know the way to your place.
B: Don’t worry. Take bus number 5 and get off at Green Street. Then walk straight on for two minutes. My house is next to the post office.
A: Thank you. See you soon!
B: See you!
A: Hello. Could I leave a message for my nephew, please?
B: Of course.
A: Please tell him that his friend called to invite him to the disco. It starts at 7 p.m. at the Youth Centre. To get there, he should take bus number 3 and get off at Park Street.
B: All right, I’ll tell him.
