I have taken part in a school singing competition. It took place in our school hall last spring.

I decided to try my chance and enter the competition. At first I was very nervous, but then I became excited. There were too many participants, so it was not easy to get through to the final. I sang my favourite song and did my best.

I did not win the competition, but I was in luck because I made new friends and enjoyed participating. I think it is always worth trying.
