Death Note

P So Alan, you do a bit of acting in your spare time. Tell us about some of the things you are in.
A Well, I played a thief in an episode of Cops and Crime once. That was fun.
P Were there any famous actors in it?
A Er, yes… but I can’t remember their names!
P So they weren’t very famous then! And were you in that very funny series with Ben Johns?
A Yes! Two Too Many. That’s a very funny programme. My character was completely mad!
P And are you in any films?
A Well, I was in a film with Cate Blanchett, but the director decided to cut the part with me in it because the film was too long!
P Oh dear! That isn’t very good.
A Well, he paid me and I stayed in a very nice hotel for a few weeks so that wasn’t so bad!
P And what are you doing at the moment, Alan?
A Well, I’m working on two projects: a documentary about wild animals and a two-part murder mystery for television.
