Who should be in charge of the Earth? What can people do to help the planet? Why do you think so? Read Learning to learn note No. 3.

People should be in charge of the Earth because everyone lives on this planet and everyone is responsible for it. Environmental groups and organisations can do a lot to protect nature, and wildlife specialists can help the environment with their knowledge and experience. People can help the planet by saving water and electricity, recycling, planting trees, not littering and taking care of animals.

Taking care of the planet is everybody’s business, because the Earth is our common home and we all depend on it.
