I am writing to your newspaper because I would like to make friends with someone from another country. I am looking for an English-speaking student to whom I could write letters in English.
Let me tell you something about myself. My name is Sasha. I am 13 years old and I am in the seventh grade. I live in Russia. I enjoy playing basketball and listening to rap music. I am friends with almost all my classmates. My best friends are Misha and Nikita. We often play basketball or go for walks together.

My Best Friend
I have a friend named Alex. Alex lives in the same neighbourhood as I do. He is 13 years old and is in my class. On the whole, my friend is very cheerful, kind and friendly. We often spend time together after school. I think Alex is a true friend because he always supports me and is ready to help me. We are both interested in football and computer games. He is also good at school and can play the piano. Besides, we like going for walks and watching films together. I think that having such a good friend as Alex is a real happiness.
