Подробный ответ

In my opinion, the three most popular items which can be the icons of Russia are the matryoshka doll, the balalaika and the samovar.

The matryoshka doll is a symbol of Russian folk art and tradition. It is bright, beautiful and well known all over the world. The balalaika is a traditional Russian musical instrument. Its unusual shape and special sound make it easy to recognize. The samovar is also an important symbol of Russia. It is connected with tea drinking and Russian hospitality.

These three items show Russian culture, history and national character. That is why I think they are the best icons of Russia.
