Pupil 1: I think we should choose Yuri Gagarin for our project. He is one of the most famous people in our country, and his life is very interesting.
Pupil 2: I partly agree with you. Yuri Gagarin is a great choice, but maybe we should choose someone from culture or science too.
Pupil 1: That’s a good idea. What about Dmitri Mendeleev? He made an important contribution to science, and many people know his name.
Pupil 2: Yes, I agree. Mendeleev is a very good choice for the project.
2. Oral report.
To become famous, people usually need talent, hard work, and luck. They should be good at what they do and never give up. Family support, education, and practice also help a lot.
Being famous has both good and bad moments. On the one hand, famous people can earn a lot of money, meet interesting people, and become popular. On the other hand, they often have no privacy and are always watched by others.
For example, Yuri Gagarin became famous because he was the first man in space. Dmitri Mendeleev is famous for creating the Periodic Table. These people are remembered because they did something important for their country and the world.
