Project 1. Eco-problems in my hometown
Name main eco-problems of your hometown. Write about what people do to save nature in your hometown. (Use the results of the survey.) Illustrate your project.
Project 2. I want our school to be an eco-school
Describe all environmental activities at your school. Think about some other possible activities to help the Earth and describe them. Illustrate your ideas.
- Present your project to your classmates. Answer your classmates’ questions.
- Discuss the projects and decide which is the best.

Project 1. Eco-problems in my hometown
My hometown has several eco-problems. The main ones are litter in the streets, dirty air from cars, and too much noise. In some places there is not enough greenery, and people sometimes throw rubbish away carelessly.
People in my hometown try to save nature. They take part in clean-up days, plant trees, sort rubbish, and save water and electricity. Schools and local groups also tell people how to protect the environment.
Project 2. I want our school to be an eco-school
Our school already does some environmental activities. We collect waste paper, save electricity, and keep the school clean. Sometimes we take part in tree-planting and clean-up campaigns.
There are some other activities that could help the Earth. For example, we could use reusable bottles, put special bins for paper, plastic, and glass, and make more green corners in the school. We could also have eco-posters and eco-lessons to teach students how to protect nature.
