Project: Icons of Russia
Russia is a very big and beautiful country. It has many famous symbols and places. I think the best items of Russia are the Red Square, the Kremlin, the Hermitage Museum, Lake Baikal and matryoshka dolls.
Red Square is the heart of Moscow. It is one of the most famous squares in the world.
The Kremlin is a historic fortress and the official residence of the President of Russia.
The Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg is one of the largest and most famous museums in the world.
Lake Baikal is the deepest and one of the cleanest lakes on Earth. It is a natural wonder of Russia.
Matryoshka dolls are traditional Russian toys and souvenirs. They are bright, beautiful and very popular.
I chose these items because they show the history, culture and nature of Russia. They are well known all over the world and make Russia special.
