- Write it right. Here is a letter from Sarah. She lives in Kenya.
Kenya has one of the most beautiful environments in the world; beautiful forests, a lot of wildlife. But the trees are cut down and the land is sold. Kenya is a very big tourist country and the environment attracts many tourists every year. But if the environment isn’t protected then our nature won’t be beautiful.
Do you have the same problems in your country? Write a letter to Sarah (100 words). Answer her question and ask two questions about what she does to protect nature.
Dear Sarah,
Thank you for your letter. Yes, we have some similar problems in my country too. In some places, trees are cut down, rivers are polluted, and people leave litter in parks and forests. I think we must protect nature because it is very important for people, animals and future generations.
My family tries to help nature. We save water and electricity, do not throw rubbish away, and plant trees in spring. Our school also takes part in cleaning the streets and parks.
