I like playing an unusual instrument – the pipe. My granddad kept one in his house. But some children laugh at me. Why don’t they understand?

Dear Alex,

Thank you for your letter. I think it is great that you play the pipe. It is unusual, but that makes it special. Don’t worry about children who laugh at you. They probably do not understand how interesting your hobby is. Be proud of yourself and keep playing. If you enjoy something and it makes you happy, you should not give it up.

My favourite activity is playing football. I train three times a week and take part in school matches. Last year our team won a local competition, and I scored two goals in the final. I was very happy and proud.
