Подробный ответ

In my opinion, the three most popular items which can be the icons of Russia are the matryoshka, the samovar and the balalaika.

The matryoshka is a symbol of Russian folk art. It is bright, beautiful and very well known all over the world. The samovar is another famous Russian item. It reminds people of Russian tea traditions and family gatherings. The balalaika is a traditional musical instrument. Its unusual shape and special sound make it easy to recognize.

These three items show different sides of Russian culture: art, hospitality and music. That is why I think they are the real icons of Russia.
