My grandparents used to spend their free time very differently from the way we do now. They used to read books, listen to the radio and go for walks. In the evenings they often played board games or talked with their family. They did not use the Internet or mobile phones, so they spent more time together. My parents used to play outside with their friends, ride bikes and help their parents at home. They also watched TV, but not for a long time. I think their free time was quieter, but they enjoyed it very much.
