Last year I came to Russia with my parents. We stayed in Moscow for a year, because my dad had a job at a big international company there. I studied at a Russian school and it was a very interesting experience for me.

At first, everything was new and a little difficult. I did not know much Russian, so it was hard to understand my classmates and teachers. But they were very friendly and helped me a lot. Soon I learned some useful words and phrases, and I could speak Russian better.

I liked my school very much. The lessons were different from the lessons in Britain, but they were interesting. I made new friends and learned a lot about Russian history, culture and traditions. I also tried Russian food and enjoyed it.

Living in Russia was exciting and unforgettable. I am glad I had this chance to study there and meet so many kind people.
