Find comparative forms of adjectives in the text of the conversation. Study the information in the Think about grammar section and explain how these comparatives were formed. Give comments on their spelling.

Comparative forms in the conversation:

• better — from good; it is an irregular comparative form.
• more interesting — formed with more + adjective because interesting has more than one syllable.

Spelling comments: better is an irregular form, so it does not follow the usual rule. Interesting does not change its ending; we add more before it.
