A typical day in the life of a flying doctor might start very early. He or she would fly to remote places to help sick people who cannot get to a hospital. The doctor would examine patients, give medicine and sometimes carry out emergency treatment. In the afternoon, the flying doctor might visit another community or return to base to prepare for the next flight. It is a busy and important job, because the doctor helps people in difficult situations.
