Local Teen Wins Science Competition

A 13-year-old student from our town has won first prize in the regional science competition this week. The event took place on Saturday at the City Science Centre and brought together more than 50 young participants from different schools. The winner, Anna Petrova, impressed the judges with her project about recycling plastic waste. She said she had worked on it for two months with help from her teacher. The judges praised her idea as creative and useful for the environment. Anna will now take part in the national competition next month.
