Reading Chekhov in English is a good way to learn about Russian culture and to compare how the story sounds in another language. I think it is interesting, but sometimes the translation can be difficult to understand.

Yes, I would like to read other Russian authors’ works in English too, because it helps me learn more about Russian literature and improve my English at the same time.

I have tried to translate a short English story into Russian. It was not easy, because I had to choose the right words and keep the meaning of the original text.
