In each group there should be an interviewer trying to get information about sport in your school. Answer the interviewer’s questions and give your opinions. The interviewer may want to find out:
? what sports the students do in their PE lessons, what games they play; which of them are more popular with the students; what sports they would prefer to do in their school and why;
? where they practise these sports; what sports equipment the school has got; what new equipment they would like to have;
? if the school takes part in any competitions and what results their teams usually show; if these students take part in competitions personally;
? why it is important to do sports at school; if the students think that they have enough physical exercise; if they are able to find time for sports and games;
? where they can do sports outside school; if they have ever done sports elsewhere; what the result was;
? …
B. Let the interviewer put the information together and then speak about what he/she has learnt.

Our school has PE lessons twice a week. In these lessons we do athletics, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball and football. The most popular games are football and basketball, because many students enjoy team sports.

I would prefer to do more swimming and tennis at school, because these sports are useful and interesting. We practise sports in the gym, on the sports ground and sometimes in the stadium. Our school has got balls, nets, mats, rackets and other sports equipment, but I would like to have a swimming pool and more modern gym equipment.

Our school takes part in different competitions, and our teams usually show good results. Some students take part in competitions personally too. I think it is important to do sports at school because sport keeps us healthy, strong and active. I think most students have enough physical exercise, but they should find more time for sports and games.

We can do sports outside school in sports clubs, swimming pools and parks. I have done sports outside school before, and the result was good: I improved my skills and became stronger.

Then the interviewer can speak about the information he/she has learnt.
