6. One can detect a liar by looking at body language. For example, liars may avoid eye contact or, on the contrary, keep it too long. They often touch their face, scratch their head, cover their mouth, use more “um” and “ah”, or repeat the question to buy time. Changes in facial expression, such as blushing, going pale, or micro-expressions, can also give them away.
