Last month, a severe flood hit our town on 12 May. Heavy rain caused the river to overflow, and several streets were under water. Many people had to leave their homes, and emergency workers helped them to safety. Some roads were closed, and local shops were damaged. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured.
