1 How’s everything? I’ve just read The Fifth Wave, a gripping science-fiction novel by award-winning author Rick Yancey, and I want to tell you about it because I’m sure you’ll want to read it too!

2 The intriguing story follows Cassie Sullivan, a 16-year-old who is one of the last survivors on Earth after a series of devastating alien attacks. The fast-paced plot is full of thrilling moments, making the book impossible to put down. The main characters are well-developed and realistic. Cassie, the brave protagonist, is joined by a mysterious teenager, Evan Walker, in an action-packed quest to rescue her younger brother from Squad 53, an alien training ground.
