I’d like to tell you about our home library. It was my mother who started collecting books in our family. Now we have about 300 books at home.

We have different kinds of books: fiction, adventure stories, detective stories, fairy tales, encyclopedias and reference books. My parents usually buy books for our home library, but sometimes I choose books myself.

We keep the books on shelves in the living room. My mother usually cleans them, and I help her from time to time. We use our home library quite often: almost every day. I read books for school and for pleasure.

My friends sometimes borrow books from our home library, and I also borrow books from them. Besides, I often take books from our school library.
