Mrs Swan says that the school library is a quiet place where students can read books, magazines and newspapers, use reference books and borrow books. British teenagers often go to the library to do homework, prepare projects and spend time with friends.

In my school, the library is also a quiet place, but it is smaller. We can borrow books and use the Internet there. However, we do not have as many magazines and newspapers as in British schools.
