Упр.19 Unit 2 ГДЗ Enjoy English 8 класс

1. Give a talk about your area (city / town / village). Say:
   • where it is situated (in what part of Russia etc)
   • about the population and languages spoken
   • about its geographical features and wild life (climate, rivers, plants and animals etc)

I live in a small town in the central part of Russia. It is situated not far from a big river and surrounded by forests and fields.

The population of my town is about 50,000 people. Most people speak Russian, but some also know English and other foreign languages.

The climate here is moderate. Winters are cold and snowy, while summers are warm and pleasant. There are many trees, flowers and green parks in our area. In the forests you can see squirrels, hares, foxes and many birds. Near the river there are fish, ducks and other water birds.

My area is quiet and beautiful, and I like living here very much.
