One day a boy was walking home from school through the park. The weather was fine, and he was thinking about his homework. Suddenly he heard a strange noise behind the trees. He stopped and looked around. A small puppy was sitting under a bush and crying. The boy came closer and saw that the puppy was lost and very hungry. He gave it some water and a piece of his sandwich. Then he took the puppy home and asked his parents if they could keep it. Finally, they agreed, and the puppy became a new member of their family.
