The Lion asked what was going on and who was there. The Mouse asked if he could see him. The Lion asked who he was. The Mouse said that he was his friend and asked if he could help him. The Lion said yes, please, but asked how he would do it. The Mouse told him not to worry and said that he could gnaw the net. The Lion asked why he wanted to help him and if he was afraid of him. The Mouse answered that he was not afraid and that he was just his friend.
