Being independent is very important in my country and in my family. A person becomes independent when he or she can make decisions, take responsibility and solve everyday problems without help.

There are many ways to become independent. First, teenagers should help their parents at home and do their own chores. Second, they should learn to manage money and plan their time. Third, it is important to make your own choices and be responsible for them. Also, young people should learn practical skills, such as cooking, shopping and using public transport.

In my family, independence means doing homework on time, keeping my room tidy and helping with housework. My parents let me make some decisions myself, and this helps me become more confident.

To be independent, a person must be responsible, hardworking and self-disciplined.
