Упр.8 Unit 1 Progress Check ГДЗ Enjoy English 8 класс

Write a letter inviting your English pen friend to come to your home town. Write about what your place is famous for. Describe the weather and climate in your area.

Dear Tom,

Thank you for your letter. I would like to invite you to come to my home town.

My town is famous for its beautiful parks, old buildings and friendly people. There are many interesting places to visit here, and I am sure you will enjoy them.

The weather in my area is quite changeable. In summer it is usually warm and sunny, but sometimes it can be rainy. Winters are cold and snowy. The climate is rather mild, so people can enjoy different seasons.

I hope you will come and see my home town one day. Write back soon!

Best wishes,
Alex
