Good ways of choosing books are the ones that get your attention, make you want to read more and don’t tell you too much. For example, a good cover or a short summary can be useful because it can be exciting and it gets your attention.

Bad ways are choosing a book only by its cover or by a very long summary, because then you may know too much before reading. I never waste my time on books that are boring or not interesting for me. I am not interested in books that do not make me want to read more.
