Here are some facts to change popular opinion:

• People do not use only 10% of their brains. Scientists say we use different parts of the brain all the time.
• Lightning can strike the same place more than once.
• We do not swallow eight spiders a year in our sleep. This is just a myth.
• Chameleons do not change colour to match everything around them. They change colour for different reasons, for example, because of light or temperature.
• Goldfish have a memory longer than three seconds.

So, I don’t believe these myths. In my opinion, people should check facts before they trust popular opinions.
